The Tyrannosaurus rex, the undisputed king of the Cretaceous period! This colossal beast, with its bone-crushing jaws and teeth as sharp as daggers, ruled the land 68 million years ago. Its name, meaning ‘tyrant lizard king’, was a testament to its dominance. Despite its ferocious reputation, T. rex was also a creature of mystery. Its puny arms, in stark contrast to its massive body, still puzzle scientists today. And let’s not forget its keen sense of smell, rivaling that of modern predators. Truly, the T. rex was a creature of both terror and wonder!
